We have employment opportunities available for both tank and van drivers. Our tank division offers on the job training to qualified applicants to assist in obtaining tank and hazmat endorsements.

Employment Eligibility

The following will be considered minimum requirements in order to be employed and maintain employment as a driver with Ballard Inc.

TANK DRIVERS

Active class A CDL with at least 2 years of experience.
Must have or be willing to obtain tank and hazmat endorsements.
Driving experience with tankers is preferred but not required.
Minimum age of 23
Meet all DOT regulations pertaining to driver qualifications and must have reasonable, comprehensive knowledge of FMCSA regulations pertaining to driver actions and responsibility.
Must pass all DOT required physical exams and drug/alcohol tests.
Must be insurable and have a clean driving record.
Over the road drivers must be able to obtain US Passport

VAN DRIVERS

Active class A CDL with at least 2 years of experience.
Meet all DOT regulations pertaining to driver qualifications and must have reasonable, comprehensive knowledge of FMCSA regulations pertaining to driver actions and responsibility.
Must pass all DOT required physical exams and drug/alcohol tests.
Must be insurable and have a clean driving record.
